It is built on an ultra-light multi-layer construction with an ultra-light carbon outer shell for maximum stability at the lowest weight. The Mips® Air Node safety system adds another level of protection for the skull and brain. The helmet's aerodynamic shape – optimized using CFD simulation – significantly reduces air resistance, while ventilation channels ensure effective air circulation. CCubed® cooling effect – a cool head when the race heats up.
Inside, the exclusive new CCubed® lining with a cooling effect, developed in collaboration with uvex, provides a revolutionary level of moisture regulation and breathability that creates a cooling effect – no matter how demanding the race.
But how does it work? Instead of polyurethane, we used a fiber-based PET material that creates a capillary effect.
Sweat is immediately wicked away from the skin to a dry area of the lining, where it can evaporate and create a natural cooling effect. This creates noticeably better comfort, especially during intense training.
