Giro Coalition Spherical prilba
Len Giro mohlo vytvoriť extrémne ľahkú prilbu, ktorá poskytuje plnú ochranu pre náročné zjazdy. S váhou iba 800 gramov.Táto NTA certifikovaná MTB prilba stále disponuje účinnou ochranou vďaka Spherical Technology Powered by MIPS. Tento unikátny systém, ktorý značka Giro vyvinula v spolupráci s MIPS, funguje na princípe kĺbu – prilba sa skladá z dvoch častí (pologuľou), ktoré sú spojené elastomérmi a kĺžu po sebe rovnako ako kĺb. Vďaka tomu môže vonkajšia vrstva v prípade nárazu rotovať okolo vnútornej vrstvy, čím dôjde k redukcii síl, ktoré by inak pôsobili priamo na mozog. Toto konštrukčné riešenie úplne nahrádza klasickú plastovú MIPS vložku, ktorú využívajú MIPS prilby bez technológie Spherical.
A navyše je tu aj technológia Progressive Layering, ktorá spočíva v dvoch rôznych tvrdostiach vonkajšej a vnútornej vrstvy. Zatiaľ čo vonkajšia vrstva tvorená penou EPS je tvrdšia a je tak pripravená tlmiť nárazy vo vysokej rýchlosti, vnútorná vrstva z EPP peny je naopak mäkšia a má odrazové vlastnosti, aby mohla čo najviac tlmiť nárazy v menších rýchlostiach.

Variante Giro Coalition Spherical prilba, čierna matná
Hands down the best full face helmet I tried. After trying on POC Otocon, FOX Proframe RS, Bell Super DH, ABUS Airdrop, this helmet fitted my head like glove, the only one coming close was POC Otocon MIPS, but in size L for my body type, was just huge (Think of PAC Man).

The only minor downside are the cheek pads, which tend to come sometimes when taking the helmet off. This is due to the fact that they are made to be easily removable by paramedics in case of crash, so I'm good with that.
All in all, I super recommend the helmet.
